How Folks Are Using Pre-Call SMS

Improve Your Pick-Up Rate

Before I start calling a list, I'll send a pre-call text message letting the contact know I'm going to be calling shortly.

This dramatically increases my conversation rate because they either reply back letting me know the best time to call them, ask me not to call them at all, or simply answer when I do call because they recognize my number when I call.

I usually send the first contact a text a few minutes before I begin calling and then I send the text for the next contact before I call the first one and then text a couple ahead each time so that I'm about 3-4 contacts ahead with text messages.
